⚠️ Known Beta Limitations
  • ⚠️  Mic reactions are inconsistent — voice pickup works on some setups, not all. We’re actively fixing this.
  • ⚠️  Screen context is best-effort — the AI sees what’s on screen but isn’t always accurate, especially in-game.
  • ⚠️  Chat can be repetitive — especially on slower hardware. Cloud AI mode (Claude/OpenAI key) is much better.
  • ⚠️  Windows only — Mac and Linux are coming.
  • ⚠️  Requires Ollama installed — the local AI engine (~1GB download, free) must be set up after installing.

Questions

Yes — ChatSim runs completely offline and doesn't connect to Twitch at all. No account, no OAuth, no API key. It generates its own chat locally using AI on your PC.
Windows 10/11 with at least 8GB RAM. A GPU with 4GB+ VRAM gives the fastest responses (the AI runs locally). Works on CPU too — just slightly slower message generation, covered by the pre-written template system.
Yes. ChatSim is a transparent overlay window. Add it as a Window Capture or Display Capture source in OBS or Streamlabs and it sits on top of your stream — exactly like a real chat overlay would.
ChatSim is a stream overlay tool — it doesn't interact with Twitch in any way. No fake accounts, no fake followers, no fake engagement on the platform. It's a visual overlay for your stream presentation, the same as any other chat widget.
Free during beta. When we go paid, users who gave feedback during beta will get a discount. We'll announce it in advance — no surprises.
